  1. Redneck Romeo to start…then will see what shows up next in the KindleFire carousel!!

  2. I’m finishing up “Mid-Life Love,” by Whitney Williams. I like finding stories about women in their 40s (not a lot out there right now, sadly). Maybe we’re just not “interesting” enough to compete with the NA 20-somethings? 🙁

Then, in keeping with the patriotic theme, I’ll be reading Jeanette Murray’s “Officer and the Secret.” It’s the third in her series that follows Marine buddies, as they find their lady loves.

I need to find stories about more Army men. Lots of stories about Marines and Navy SEALS, but not too many about artillerymen. 🙂

Enjoy your holiday, and a special THANK YOU to our our servicemen and women and veterans, for ensuring we remain a free nation.

  3. I’ve just started Kresley Cole’s MacRieve (Immortals After Dark).and then it’s on to He’s The One.

    1. I will be sure to take notes to make sure you wrote “proper” safe sex into the story. lol

  4. Right now I am reading Return to Pie Town by Lynne Hinton. It is the second in a series about a small town and the people in it. This one is about a young man returning from war. Figure it is a good way to start the holiday off.

  5. At the moment I am re-reading The Heir, The Soldier and the Virtuoso by Grace Burrowes. Then I am going straight back to Studs in Spurs series and re-read the series again. Starting with Unridden ….. for the umpteenth time!!

  6. Just finished an advance copy of a book coming out in August called The Baby Deal by Kat Cantrell. The story of two people who had a past that they thought was done. But changes in Michael “Shay” Shaylen’s life cause him to ask for help from Dr. Juliana “Ju” Crane. As she helps him deal with these changes, they both realize the past is NOT finished. No cowboys but a great story. Think I’ll get back in the saddle with a re-read of Unridden and then a first read of Bucked. Have a great holiday, everyone!
