Honey Buns

STEAMY * ZANY * ALL THE FEELS

"All the happy feels are what this book is made of."

She’s a small town baker. He’s a big city workaholic. Opposites definitely do attract…until  business gets in the way of pleasure .

Never have a romantic dinner with a charming stranger. It won’t work out well. Trust me. I know.

One dinner and now mister handsome hottie’s two new enterprises are about to drive my bake shop out of business.

I was just a pawn in his little game of Mudville Monopoly. Fine. He’d better hold on to his hotels, because I’m about to show Mister Moneybags exactly what it means to mess with a girl who spent some time on the wrong side of the B.&O. Railroad tracks.

That would be easier if he weren’t so devastatingly distracting. And if my only option for survival wasn’t for him to become my new boss.

Honey Buns is a standalone opposites attract romance featuring a city-born billionaire workaholic, a feisty small town baker with a chip on her shoulder, some hundred year old love letters that'll make you cry, addictive diner fries, a dumpster diving stray cat and pastries guaranteed to leave you sticky!

"If you have read the previous Mudville books, you will know our leading lady Bethany already. And if you haven't, you are missing some sweet reads. Honey Buns is my favourite in the series so far." 5 Stars

Just like the first two books this one was super cute and funny and small-towny and sparky and just totally sweet. I adored it!

I've been reading Cat's work for over 10 years and the reason for that is books like this. Her character and world building is top notch, there's always some humor thrown in, and of course the happy ever after that makes this reader's heart happy and puts a smile on my face and in my soul.

Kristen Lewendon on Goodreads wrote:

This is one of those books where you just sit back and hang on for the ride of your life.

Here we are on book three of this very entertaining series and I have fallen as in love with Mudville as Brandon has...

Loved this story, but I do advise not reading before bed if you have to work in the morning. I couldn't put it down.

Hanlie Pienaar on Goodreads wrote:

What a whirlwind of baking, passion and love with friendship thrown in fir good measure. Not to mention all the hi-jinks that come about with living in the town of Mudville. Cannot wait for Boones tale next!

As with the rest of this series, this is laugh out loud entertaining. You do not need to read the others in the series, but I highly recommend you start at the beginning. None of them will disappoint you.
