In defense of Jace EXCERPT #2 Three Weeks with a Bull Rider…

It’s interesting to sit back as an author and watch readers react to your characters. I’m finding that particularly so with Jace from the Oklahoma Nights series. He’s not perfect. I know. I wrote him that way. There are reasons for his flaws and for his behavior, but you, the readers don’t get to see all that until his book, Three Weeks with a Bull Rider. Today’s spotlight will be on one of my favorite books I’ve written, A COWBOY FOR CHRISTMAS.  I love the hero. I love the heroine’s backstory and how it shapes her life. I love how the hero and heroine are complete opposites but still can’t fight the attraction. I love the fish out of water theme and how it swaps with first her being the one out of her element in his world, and then thanks to unforeseen circumstances it’s him having to survive in her world. I love the side characters, and the surprise plot twist. Mostly I love how it will make you […]
