THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE HOME

Home again from 5 days at the Romantic Times Booklovers Convention in Orlando, Florida and exhausted!
ON THE RADIO
I woke up sounding a bit sultry this morning, but luckily my voice held out for the 26 (I think?) interviews I did live on sight at RT09 in the shiny new All Romance eBooks What’s Hot in Romance recording booth. It was a ton of fun meeting and speaking with all those authors. Hear the first recorded interview on tonight’s show 930 PM EASTERN as Amanda McIntyre and I dish about RT, her new releases and some of the surreal craziness that is RT. The rest of the recordings will be featured over the next 2 months during our normal time slot. I’ll post the author schedule on www.blogtalkradio.com/Whats-Hot-In-Romance. And if I can figure it out (which may require HTML on my part) I’ll post the pics too!
ON THE TWEETS
We discovered a whole new level at RT this year–people on Twitter giving moment by moment updates of the entire conference right down to “Waiting on line for the Vampire Dinner” to “OMG Did you see Mr. Romance!” We would even go to the events, see them live, but rush home to the room to wrestle with the sucky internet connection at the Wyndam to read what people had written. So if you missed the con, go to twitter.com and search the hash tag #RT09 and you will find everyone’s blow by blow reports from the week. There are even pics of me there holding up my sign “#BNfail” after I discovered that Barnes & Noble neglected to order my newest release for the booksigning even though they told me they had.
So there you go, my “still tired with too much to do” report of RT. It was fun but it’s good to be home.
