Authors After Dark Savannah #AADSAV

August 15-18 Authors After Dark Savannah, GA at the Savannah Riverfront Marriott FREE SATURDAY BOOK SIGNING – OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, 2-4 PM, Aug 17th Tomorrow I leave for historic Savannah, Georgia. My first trip there and I’m looking forward to the location as much as the event, because, you guessed it, it’s time for the annual Authors After Dark reader event! For those attending the full event, don’t miss the Cowboy Hour on Friday at 5pm, I’ll be there with some of my favorite fellow western authors, and there will be books, and swag and games! For the folks who like the panels, I’ve got those too. On Thursday I’ve got the Self Publishing panel at 10, the Men in Uniform panel at 2, the Erotic Romance in Not Erotica panel at 3 and a solo promo workshop Thinking Outside the Box at 4. Phew! Thursday is going to be a busy day, ending with the Bookie Awards followed by the Riverboat Cruise. Friday I have the 11am Western panel, and as mentioned before the Cowboy Hour at 5. Authors After Dark Savannah 2013

Yes, this is how this business works. It’s still the last quarter of 2012 but I’m already paid and registered with a room booked and promo purchased for a convention next August. The registration for Authors After Dark 2013, to be held on the riverfront in lovely Savannah, GA, is selling out quickly and I think they hope to be completely filled by December this year, so here I am, posting about it now because they are holding a fabulous promotion. Check out the official post for details HERE but in a nutshell, there are free registrations and lots of prizes up for grabs during their registration drive, now through December 24th. Also happening now for next August’s convention is voting for the Bookie Awards. I’ve been honored to be nominated by the convention attendees for 3 years running now. I’ve won for my books in my Contemporary Western series Studs in Spurs two years in a row, and I’m nominated again this year in the Western Romance category for 2 books in that series, and also in the Best Anthology category for Cowboy Lust (out through Cleis Press, edited by Delilah Devlin with a forward by Lorelei James).
