Military Romance Reads

I had no plans to post a blog today. I’m much too busy worrying about my one active-duty military consultant who is counting the months until he returns home from Afghanistan, while my other is packing because he can count in days his departure to the same region. But then I saw the mass amounts of others posting and felt left out. 🙁 So call me a sheep, but here I am, following the flock. So here you go, the military heroes who I write to honor the real military men in my life. Some are soldiers and cowboys both, some are Marines, some are special ops while others are tankers and infantrymen, but all encompass the qualities of the very special men who inspired them. FYI- BB Dalton is FREE and Cat Snips, my anthology which is also FREE, contains 2 military-themed short stories (Fireworks and The Soldier and the Siren).

Heartbreaker Blog Hop Feb 8 – 11 *CLOSED*

Yeah, women love bad boys. The heartbreakers they fall for knowing the risk, hoping to be the one to reform them. But heartbreakers aren’t alway bad guys. Sometimes, they’re the good guys who break a girl’s heart trying to do the right thing. Sacrificing self and happiness for the greater good. Tucker Jenkins, in ONE NIGHT WITH A COWBOY, releasing Feb. 26 and on preorder now, is this kind of hero. SPOILER ALERT: He breaks Becca’s heart, for a little while anyway, but he does it to protect her. But never fear, because in my world when a man breaks a woman’s heart, but does it for the right reasons, karma or the goddess of love or fate or whoever is in charge of cosmic matters of the heart, makes sure things all work out for the lovers in the end. Want to read an excerpt from One Night with a Cowboy? CLICK HERE. So, readers, what kind of heartbreaker hero do you prefer ? The bad boy you want to see saved by the heroine? Or the good boy who sacrifices all for the greater good? Or maybe you love to hate the man who breaks the heroine’s heart so the […]

February 2013 Cowboy Calendar Desktop Wallpaper

We’re less than one month out from the release of ONE NIGHT WITH A COWBOY, on preorder now, but it’s never too early to plan for February and Valentines Day, and all that yummy chocolate. So here you go, a hot new version of my cowboy desktop wallpaper featuring a February 2013 calendar for your convenience. I actually found myself referring to the January calendar on my desktop quite a bit. But the calendar feature is also a good excuse for having a hot cowboy on your computer, just in case the boss (or the significant other) questions you about it! Below, for your download, I’ve linked to computer desktop wallpaper that should be compatible with most screen sizes and shapes.
