Where the heck did February go? I know it’s a short month, but it’s only shorter by one day this year thanks to Leap Year, and still it really flew by.
Since it did fly by so fast, I didn’t finish my book as planned, so that’s what I’ll be doing this March, writing HONEY BUNS, another standalone novel in my Mudville Smalltown Secrets series.
This picture (below) reminds me of the real life upstate New York town where I currently reside, which I used as the model for my fictional Mudville.
In both the fictional and the real town there’s the local dive bar (and I use that that term with the utmost respect!) And in that bar you can get amazing chicken wings, and french fries and fried pickles (don’t knock ’em til you try ’em!). And there’s a pool table.
I have plans for that pool table–and man, that sounded dirty. I swear those were NOT my plans originally. I was just going to have Boone be a pool champ but now I’m thinking I might have to plan a little more action for that table. I guess we’ll see. That’s at least 1 book in the future, maybe 2. Right now I have to finish Honey Buns and Bethany’s story before I jump into Boone’s story in ZERO F**KS.
Until then, enjoy the March desktop wallpaper.
